Bingo Card Generator

Create randomized 5×5 bingo cards from classic numbers or your own word list, then download them as a printable PDF.

Card type

How it works

  1. Choose classic 1–75 number bingo or paste your own entries, one per line (at least 24).
  2. Set how many cards you need (1–20) and whether the center square is a free space.
  3. Click Generate cards to preview every card, then Download PDF to get one card per page.

Frequently asked questions

How are the bingo cards randomized?
Every card is shuffled with your browser’s cryptographic random number generator, the same source used for security keys. That means the layout of each card is statistically unpredictable, and generating 20 cards gives you 20 genuinely independent shuffles rather than slight variations of one card.
How does classic 1–75 bingo work on these cards?
The generator follows standard US bingo rules: the B column holds numbers 1–15, I holds 16–30, N holds 31–45, G holds 46–60, and O holds 61–75. Five distinct numbers are drawn for each column, so every card is valid for a normal bingo caller using 75 balls.
How many custom entries do I need for a card?
A 5×5 card has 25 squares, so you need at least 24 entries when the free center space is on, or 25 when it is off. You can paste more than that — extra entries simply give the shuffle a bigger pool, which makes cards differ from each other more.
Is my word list uploaded anywhere?
No. The card shuffling and the PDF itself are built entirely in your browser with JavaScript; nothing is sent to a server. That makes the tool safe for classroom vocabulary lists, baby shower phrases, or company meeting bingo that you would rather keep private.
What does the downloaded PDF look like?
The PDF contains one card per US Letter page with a large 5×5 grid, a BINGO header row, and text sized to fill each cell, so cards are easy to read across a table. Long custom phrases are wrapped and scaled down automatically. Print at 100% scale for best results.

About this tool

This bingo card generator builds randomized 5×5 cards for any occasion — classroom review games, baby showers, road trips, holiday parties, or a traditional 75-ball night. Switch between classic number mode, which follows the standard B-I-N-G-O column ranges, and custom mode, where you paste your own words or phrases one per line. Set the number of cards you need, toggle the free center space, and every player gets a unique, fairly shuffled card.

Everything happens locally in your browser. The shuffle uses the Web Crypto API rather than ordinary pseudo-random numbers, so card layouts are as unpredictable as a physical drum of bingo balls. In classic mode each column draws five distinct numbers from its official range (B is 1–15 through O at 61–75), keeping the cards compatible with any standard bingo caller or number-drawing app. In custom mode the generator samples 24 or 25 entries from your list for each card independently, so a longer list produces more variety between players. Because nothing is uploaded, your word lists stay on your device.

The PDF download is generated client-side as well, with one card per US Letter page. Cells are large, text is automatically wrapped and scaled to fit, and grid lines are crisp at print resolution — no screenshots or cropping needed. Print the file at 100% scale, cut nothing, and hand one page to each player.

A few practical tips: for custom games, aim for 30 or more entries so cards overlap less and the game lasts longer. Keep phrases short — two to four words print largest and are easiest to scan mid-game. If you are calling the game yourself, keep your master list open in the textarea and tick items off as you call them.
