- Is my invoice data sent to a server?
- No. The form and the PDF are handled entirely in your browser — nothing is uploaded, stored or logged anywhere. This makes the tool safe to use with real client names, addresses and amounts.
- How is the total calculated?
- Each line amount is quantity multiplied by unit price, and the subtotal is the sum of all lines. If you enter a tax rate, that percentage of the subtotal is added on top to give the final total, and the tax line appears separately on the PDF.
- Can I use different currencies?
- Yes. Pick USD, EUR, GBP or TRY from the currency selector and the matching symbol is used in the live totals and on the PDF. Amounts are purely numeric — no conversion happens, so enter values in the currency you invoice in.
- What information should an invoice include?
- At minimum: both parties’ names and addresses, a unique invoice number, the issue date, a clear description of each item or service with its quantity and price, any tax applied, the total due and a due date. The form covers all of these fields, and payment terms or bank details can go in the notes area so the client knows exactly how to pay.
- Is an invoice made with this generator legally valid?
- An invoice is valid because of its content, not the software that produced it, so a PDF from this tool is as legitimate as one from paid invoicing software. Requirements vary by country — some jurisdictions require a tax identification number or sequential numbering — so check your local rules and fill in the corresponding fields.
